Type of documentary- Mixed documentary
Style of documentary- Informal and informative
Channel and scheduling- As a group we decided that channel 4 would be the channel we broadcasted our documentary. We will also be broadcasting the documentary after 9pm (post watershed).
Target audience- late teenagers, young adults aged between 16-24 male and female. People that are interested in the clothes they wear.
Primary research needed- Interviewees: Matt's Dad, Mrs Battle, Bob Murray (police), Emma- Infinities, Mr Dyment and Mark West.
Locations- Matt's room, Mrs Battle's office, (POLICE), Infinities shop, Mr Dyments office and (WEST).
Props- Posters, clothes for Matt's Dad. Mrs Battle's office. Police helmet, badge, uniform. Designer shop for Emma- Infinities. Mr Dyment's office, mise en scene. Mark West's t-shirts etc.
Secondary research needed- Archive material: Awaydays, Footage of people hanging around in their gangs, hoodies, identity etc. Gok Wan's fashion fix archive footage with him helping girls to dress to be confident.
Relevant documents-
Narrative structure: Closed narrative structure- definate ending.
Outline of content: Interviews, Archive material, music, cutaways and voiceover.
Resource requirements: camera, tripod, microphone, photoshop, adobe, windows movie maker, dictaphone and stills camera.
